都說萬物有靈性，美國一頭小母牛在知道自己死期將至之時，成功從屠宰場逃脫，並被當地相關單位救援，將牠遷移至一處動物保護區，與其他牛隻成為鄰居，擺脫成為聖誕節牛排大餐的命運！
外媒報導，上週有一頭重約400磅的海福特（Hereford heifer）小母牛，從美國紐約皇后區一處屠宰場逃脫，後來當天晚些時候在紐約的法拉盛草原可樂娜公園（Flushing Meadows Corona Park）被人圍捕，據紐約警方表示，這頭小母牛估計有9個月大。

圍捕行動成功後，紐約警察局特別行動部門（NYPD Special Ops Department）和紐約市公園局（New York City Parks Department）都發布推文表示，名為「史黛西」（Stacy）的小母牛會在當地的一處動物保護區「Skylands Animal Sanctuary And Rescue」受到良好照顧。

動物保護區為史黛西進行一系列的身體檢查後，對外公布這頭9個月大的小母牛身體狀況一切正常，未來牠會與另外93頭牛一起居住在保護區裡，在自由、飲食起居正常且有適當獸醫護理的環境生活。
