有養狗的人通常都會花時間用指令訓練狗狗，教導牠們服從命令，而這些指令多數都是直接了當的，不過加拿大有位飼主訓練自家愛犬的方式是用《哈利波特》裡的各種咒語，每種咒語代表的意義不同，而且狗狗還真的聽得懂！
據New York Post報導，來自加拿大多倫多（Toronto）的Audriana Li家中養著一隻3歲的拉布拉多貴賓犬（Labradoodle）、取名叫做「多比」（Dobby），Audriana Li不僅自身是《哈利波特》的粉絲，也希望愛犬能像她一樣喜歡《哈利波特》，便想到用咒語來訓練多比，她也常在IG和TikTok上分享愛犬的可愛日常。
Audriana Li表示，早在多比來到家裡前，她就已經下定決心要用《哈利波特》咒語來訓練養的狗狗，「我喜歡每次讓牠來、留下或裝死時，我都有一種擁有真實魔力的感覺」。Audriana Li從多比只有幾個月大的時候就開始教牠一些咒語了，日前她分享了一段影片，透露多比現在能聽懂多達15個咒語分別代表的動作指令。

這些咒語包括「Relashio代表後退」、「Ascendio代表上樓梯」、「Aguamenti代表喝水」、「Glisseo代表跳過去」、「Avada Kedavra代表裝死」等等。Audriana Li說其中她最喜歡的一個咒語是「go to Azkaban」，這是要多比回到籠子裡的意思，「每天晚上把牠送到『阿茲卡班』，看著牠歡快的小跑進籠子裡，我都笑得要命！」
多比的「聽咒語」技能為牠在IG上吸引了3.8萬粉絲數，在TikTok上也有超過2.8萬粉絲數，網友們對於這個特別的訓練方式都紛紛留言回應，「想像一下，在公共場合用一支發亮的魔杖大喊『Avada Kedavra』XD」、「狗狗保姆會喜歡這個的」、「另類的哈利波特迷」、「我現在把裝死的指令從Bang Bang改成這個會太晚嗎？」「你家狗狗好聰明，我有5隻很乖的麻瓜」、「紅色皮毛加一件長袍？一定是衛斯理家的人」。
